We're passionate about bringing you quality products and exceptional service. Our story began with a simple mission: to build bold, vibrant clothing and gear with empowering messages that elevate women. Our products are not demure or fluffy.

Our Mission

At Hissyfit we strive to raise the perception and well being of females. We encourage girls of every age to share their strengths and struggles. We want our constellation to shine brightly, collect new friends and have fun lifting the spirits of others. We love to help you to stand your ground and be a boss. 

Our Herstory

The Hissyfit idea sparked when graphic designer and sign maker, Chris Wolf, was on leave from work caring for her infant daughter. Over sleepless nights she gazed at the innocent little being and wondered what this girl would face in her lifetime. She reflected back on her own journey as a girl which included incidents of being belittled, quieted for speaking up, underestimated when taking on physical tasks, shamed for loving sports and cars and toys marketed "for boys" and then later working in a male dominated field. She questioned why so many girls are brought up to perceive weakness in themselves and it sparked an idea to try and change the story as written. Chris' solution was to use her graphic design skills to flip the script and illuminate a brighter path for her daughter. She wished to create an environment where women and girls embrace their fierce femininity and applaud these characteristics in each other.

In 2025, after years of taking notes on ideas and creating designs, Hissyfit was developed and launched. This business is based in the United States on the Oregon Coast and is run by a mother and daughter team. Chris' daughter is now 11 and she believes spending time together building a company will strengthen her daughter's future. Having both a younger and an older perspective keep's Hissyfit products interesting too.
